Born in China and raised in Florida, I have always wanted to experience a real Chinese family life and learn Mandarin. My 6-month in Shanghai has been fruitful for me to fulfill these two goals. I am continuing my language study back in the states with more confidence. I look forward to come back again maybe with Ivy Career program!

I am a die-hard Chinese and Korean drama fan, and I have been learning Mandarin on Duolingo for a few years. Coming to Shanghai via Ivy Pair has been a journey exactly what I planned it to be. I love my host familiy and the wonderful kids who have been very patient with me. Ivy Pair was also very helpful in the first month while I settle down and explore the neighborhood.
